40-Member Delegation from Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak, Visits Haryana for Cultural and Educational Exchange under Yuva Sangam Initiative

Haryana Cooperation, Jails, Heritage and Tourism Minister, Dr Arvind Sharma said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is steadfast in promoting national unity and the rich cultural heritage of India. As part of his vision, the Yuva Sangam initiative is connecting youth from different states, fostering cultural exchange, and encouraging mutual interaction.
On Friday evening, Dr. Arvind Sharma welcomed a 40-member delegation from the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh, to his office here. The delegation, which is part of the fifth phase of the Yuva Sangam initiative, is visiting Haryana Central University, Pali (Mahendragarh) for a week-long cultural and educational exchange.
While addressing the youth, Dr. Sharma said that the Yuva Sangam initiative is aligned with Prime Minister Sh. Modi’s vision to promote national unity and enhance social harmony. The program facilitates the exchange of students from one university to another across different states, where they immerse themselves in the local culture, geography, and heritage. During their visit, the delegation had meaningful discussions with Dr. Sharma on various topics related to culture, heritage, and development.
Dr. Sharma also stated that the Yuva Sangam initiative is an integral part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Abhiyan launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This initiative seeks to foster mutual understanding and cultural exchange among the youth of different regions. The Minister took the opportunity to ask the participants about their experiences and encouraged them to actively engage with the cultural and developmental aspects of the country. He said that such exchanges offer young people the chance to deepen their appreciation of India’s rich history, cultural diversity, and achievements.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Haryana Central University, Pali (Mahendragarh), University Nodal Officer Dr. Rajendra Prasad Meena, and faculty members, including Sh. Vikas Siwach, Assistant Professor of Tourism and Hotel Management, along with Sh. Amit and researcher Ms. Prerna were also present on this occasion.
