Haryana Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Department (DITECH), held a programme to promote Startup Ecosystem as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the State at Hartron Innovation Hub, Gurugram.

Chief Technology Officer, DITECH, Sh. Nitin Bansal gave a welcome address to kick start the Startup Event to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Haryana. He informed that the dedicated sessions for the Startups have been delivered by Senior Officials from Startup India, Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), GeM SPV and Nasscom CoE-IoT. He said that these sessions help the Startups in getting deep insights and key success factors essential for growth of the Startup Ecosystem.

Principal Secretary, DITECH, Sh. Vineet Garg graced the event as Chief Guest and inaugurated the event.

During his inaugural address Sh. Vineet Garg said that Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) is being celebrated to commemorate 75 years of Independent India and its glorious history, people, culture and achievements.

Sh. Vineet Garg said that the state has drastically improved its vast infrastructure, strengthened its service delivery and encompasses all the growth potentials that are required to facilitate startups growth in the next years. This led to the state acquiring a new identity as a shining IT hub.

He said that Entrepreneurship today is all about implementing a good idea.

He further added that it is a hard fact that the technology does not require billions of dollars or hundreds of acres of land to build. It requires only innovations that are in the minds of budding entrepreneurs, which are non-traditional, untried, and sometimes risky, but can make a big difference in the world of tomorrow.

He appreciated that the young entrepreneurs in the state have capabilities to dabble, to cherish, to contribute in shaping the future of New India with their innovative solutions.

Sh. Vineet Garg specifically mentioned that he has strong faith that our young entrepreneurs are the architects who will shape the next 25 years of India.

Deputy Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), GoI, Sh. Sachin Dhania  delivered  the keynote address during the event and talked in detail about Startup India Programme and initiatives taken by DITECH in collaboration with DPIIT.

Several officers from DOTECH, HARTRON, DPIIT, Startup India Team, CIPAM, GeM-SPV and NASSCOM CoE-IoT were also present during the event.
