Rajeev Arora starts the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccine roll out in Faridabad

Chandigarh, February 8 – Haryana, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Home Department, Rajeev Arora, started the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccine roll out in Faridabad today.

Additional Chief Secretary said that the State and Central government is working earnestly towards effective implementation of the COVID-19 vaccine roll out, thus, it is also our responsibility to spread awareness in this regard.

The vaccination campaign started in 20 places today, under which officers and employees of departments like Police, Municipal Corporation, CISF, BSF, Revenue, Panchayati Raj, Home Guard have been vaccinated.

On this occasion, Arora planted saplings in the Hospital premises and motivated the officers to remain sensitive to the environment. He said that every person should make efforts towards planting such saplings so that oxygen levels are enhanced in the atmosphere which will help strengthen the immunity of people.

During this campaign, the Commissioner of Police O.P. Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Yashpal, DCP Arpit Jain and several other officers were also vaccinated.
