Calling upon the people to celebrate the traditional Indian festival with the colors of unity, tolerance, brotherhood and compassion, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana K.P. Singh on Monday greeted the people on the occasion of Hola Mohalla and Holi.
In a message issued here, the speaker said that the festival, which also showcases the victory of good over evil, comes as a reminder of the highest moral values of humanity. He exhorted the people to utilize this opportunity to forget all differences and inhibitions to promote the spirit of unity, adding that let this day spread happiness amongst all of us. He also appealed the people to avoid visiting crowded places and use only organic colors, besides avoiding to touch their as well as other’s eyes, nose and mouth to stay safe from the Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19).
