Inspiring examples have emerged of the initiatives taken by the representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions to help the needy patients in recent days. Vikas Chambiyal, Up-Pradhan of Lodhwan Panchayat of Indora Development Block of Kangra district has set an example. He is not only performing the last rites of the Covid-19 deceased in his area, but also making people aware to stay safe in home isolation. He is also providing essential commodities to the kins of the deceased.
Apart from motivating the patients, Vikas Chambiyal is also providing masks, sanitizers etc. to the people. He is also creating awareness among the people to get themselves tested in case of ILI symptoms and to take necessary measures.
