Chandigarh July 10- Shiromani Akali President S Sukhbir Singh Badal has convened an emergent meet of his Party ‘s highest decision making body, the Core Committee at the party HQs at 11.45 am on July 12 to deliberate CM Bhagwant Mann’s “ unbelievable surrender of Punjab’s inalienable right over Chandigarh and to chart out the party’s further course of action to safeguard the interests of the state on this and other critical issues”.
Mr Badal described the CM’s surrender on Chandigarh as “ a dangerous development “ adding that the decision had clearly been dictated to Bhagwant Mann by his Delhi master Arvind Kejrival who is keen on sacrificing Punjab’s crucial interests to please Haryana in order to promote AAP’s electoral stakes in that state.
