Ranking of districts to be based on the discharge of responsibilities and marks for quality

School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh will release the primary education report of the districts in Bhopal on 21st February. It may be noted that the educational report of the districts is prepared by the Rajya Shiksha Kendra School Education Department on the basis of the work being done in the districts at the elementary education level. This educational report has been prepared on the basis of the work done till December-2023. This type of educational report is being issued by the Rajya Shiksha Kendra since the last two years.
The said programme will be held at 2 pm in the meeting room no. 211 located on the second floor of Mantralaya Vallabh Bhawan Annexe-3. The programme will also be telecast live through the YouTube channel of the Rajya Shiksha Kendra.
In the report to be released districts will be awarded numbers on the basis of departmental priorities, smooth operation of schemes and achievements. This report will be shared among the District Project Officers of all the districts as well as among the District Collectors and Divisional Commissioners.
In this connection, Director Rajya Shiksha Kendra Shri Dhanraju S said that this system has been implemented with a view to ensure quality and timely execution of work as well as to create a sense of healthy competition among the districts. Under this system, the work of all the district education centres, DIETs and training institutions like education colleges under the Rajya Shiksha Kendra is tested on a contemporary basis. Corrective action is taken based on the marks obtained by the institutions.
The Director Rajya Shiksha Kendra said that many work points have been prioritised. Keeping these tasks in mind, reports and ranking of the districts have been prepared. These tasks were bifurcated into 7 main parts like enrollment and retention of children, best quality educational achievements, professional development of teachers, equality, infrastructure and physical facilities, good governance processes and Nav Bharat Literacy Programme, and marks have been determined on the basis of a total of 39 indices.
The ranking of all the districts of the state will be made and released among the districts on 21 February 2024 in accordance with the above priorities and calculation system, based on the performance till the month of December-2023 in the academic session 2023-24.
