Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Shakar Chiktan, Dr. Sanjat Bhardwaj on Tuesday chaired a meeting to discuss widening of Khangral-Sanjak Road.The meeting saw active participation from representatives of various departments, including PDD, PHE, R&B, I&FC, PMGSY, Health, GREF etc.
During the meeting, the SDM emphasized the need for all departments to remain vigilant and prepared to ensure uninterrupted essential services, which might be affected during the construction phase of Khangral-Sanjak Road.The SDM highlighted the strategic importance of this road from various perspectives, underlining its potential impact on the region’s connectivity and development.
The SDM urged the departments involved in the land requisition process, as well as those responsible for the assessment of trees and structures, to submit their reports promptly. This, he stressed, is critical for the timely completion of the project. SDM also emphasised the need of inter departmental coordination and also directed all concerned to ensure continuance of essential services in the area especially in winters.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair, expressing appreciation for the cooperation and efforts of all departments in ensuring the success of this important infrastructure project.
