Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay on Saturday visited Kamal Nallah to monitor the restoration work of Karsha Pishu road.

On receiving information regarding the blockage of the Karsha-Pishu link road, the SDM directed the Mechanical Department and PWD for restoration of the link road immediately.
JE PWD along with the machine of the Mechanical Department visited the blockage site at Kamal Nallah. The link road of Karsha-Rinam-Pishu was blocked due to heavy snow melting water discharge/flash flood caused heavy water accumulation at Kamal Nallah.
The SDM also visited the site to monitor the restoration work and directed the JE PWD to make an alternate temporary route to connect Pishu and Rinam village with the headquarter and also directed to restore the main road permanently.
After hard work, the road was restored in late evening on Saturday. The village representatives thanked the Administration headed by SDM Zanskar and the concerned departments for their quick response in the restoration of the road.
