Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that Panipat Police is making every effort to trace the missing person Sh. Jai Bhagwan and presently the investigation of the case is being done by the CIA, but on special demand of MLA, Sh. Balbir Singh, now the matter is being transferred to the State Crime Bureau who will look into the matter.

Sh. Vij said this in response to a question raised during the ongoing winter session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that after analyzing the call details of the missing person Sh. Jai Bhagwan, the research involving all the suspicious persons was done. Details of the missing person have been shared on Newspapers, Local City Cable and Delhi Doordarshan TV. Advertisements were also issued on various channels, advertisements of missing persons were pasted in public places as well.
Sh. Vij said that the search for the missing person was done at village Mandi, Railway Station Panipat, Bus Stand Panipat, General Hospital Panipat’s mortuary, Pillukheda area, District Jind, Thana Urban Estate Rohtak, I.M.T. Rohtak, Dariyapur Bawana, Samaypur Badli, Alipur, Buradi, Industrial Area Narela (Delhi). Correspondence was made to the Superintendents of Police and Commissioners of Police of other districts in connection with the search for the missing Jai Bhagwan in the areas of Bus Stand Shamli Police Station, Kairana, Agra (Uttar Pradesh) and Haridwar (Uttarakhand) etc.
