Chief Minister takes part in Shri Ram Raahgiri Anandotsav in Ujjain

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today participated in the Shri Ram Raahgiri Anandotsav programme organized at Ankpat Marg in Ujjain. The Raahgiri Anandotsav was dedicated to the great ritual of Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 22 January.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 22 January is a historic day of great pride and joy for all of us. Ramlalla will be consecrated in Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya on this day. Various programmes are being organized in Madhya Pradesh from 16 to 22 January to mark the celebration. Today, Lord Shri Ram Raahgiri Anandotsav was organized at Ankpat Marg near Vaishnav Akhadas. He said that Lord Shri Ram is idolized by all of us. Shri Ram presented the ideal of dignity, patience and Putra Dharma. The Chief Minister told to celebrate the festival on January 22 by lighting lamps at our homes, distributing sweets and joyously witnessing the Pran Pratishtha programme.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav greeted the citizens present at the Raahgiri fest. Welcome platforms, health check-up counters were put up besides bhajan groups, cultural programmes, banners of government schemes and yoga counters could be seen all over. Government Dhanvantari Ayurveda Medical College also set up a stall to promote dishes made from Shree Anna (coarse grains).

The Chief Minister was welcomed at various forums with flower showers and was adorned with safa. The Chief Minister sang hymns of Lord Shri Ram on stage, blew conch shell, played drums and also rode a horse during the fest. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached Sandipani Ashram and also performed aarti after having darshan and worship of Maharishi Sandipani, Lord Shri Krishna, Sudama and Balram.

Ujjain MP Shri Anil Firojia, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Shri Bahadur Singh Bormundla, Shri Sanjay Aggarwal, Shri Shyam Bansal, MLA Shri Chintamani Malviya and other distinguished citizens and officials were present in the programme.
