In response to a question asked in the winter session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the State Government is committed to ensure fairness and transparency in the recruitment process.

He added that Haryana Staff Selection Commission had invited applications for recruitment of 5,000 posts under the recruitment advertisement number 8/2015 (Category No.1) of constable (male). In this, 517 posts were reserved for Economically Backward Persons in General Caste (EBPG) Category. In this recruitment 499 candidates were selected whereas 18 posts were not filled.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that under the recruitment advertisement number 7/2015 (Category No.-17) of Mandi Supervisor, applications were sought for appointments to 171 posts. In which 13 posts were reserved for Economically Backward Candidates (EBPG). Staff Selection Commission had recommended 16 (13 selected + 3 candidates) candidates for this post.
Applications were invited for 126 appointments under the Recruitment Advertisement No. 7/2015 (Category No. 19) of Auction Recorder. In which, 27 posts were reserved for Economically Backward Candidates (EBPG). Staff Selection Commission had recommended 35 (27 selected + 8 candidates) candidates for this post. Applications were invited for the recruitment of 269 posts under the Recruitment Advertisement No. 11/2015 (Category No.-2) of the Taxation Inspector.
Out of these, 17 posts were reserved for Economically Backward Persons in General Caste Category Candidates (EBPG). Staff Selection Commission has recommended for 17 posts. No appointment letter has been issued against the selection list in these three recruitments, because the Hon’ble High Court has ordered to maintain status quo in relation to the appointment of economically backward persons of general category in Haryana.
