Punjab Pollution Control Board would host a State Level Workshop on September 7, 2022 at Amity University, Sector-82, IT City, Mohali regarding International day on clean air for blue skies .
Disclosing this PPCB Chairman Dr. Adarsh Pal Vig said that Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Department of Science, Technology & Environment will be the Chief Guest and speakers for the workshop will be Sh. Harsha Kota, Associate Professor, IIT Delhi and Dr. Shweta Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jammu. Stalls regarding Control on Air Pollution will also be displayed during the workshop. MLA, Mohali Sh. Kulwant Singh, MLA Derabassi Sh. Kuljit Singh Randhawa, Secretary, Science Technology and Environment Sh. Kumar Rahul, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Sh. Amit Talwar, IAS, Vice Chanceller, Amity Univerisity Dr. Ravinder K. Kohli, Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board Dr. Adarsh Pal Vig, Member Secretary, PPCB Er Krunesh Garg, other officials from PPCB, officials from stakeholder departments are also expected to participate in the workshop.
