Ludhiana, November 6:
Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Surabhi Malik said that teachers play a very important role in shaping the destiny of the students by giving them vital guidance. She said that teachers shape the lives of their students that help them in achieving great heights.
She said this while attending the Annual Day function of Sacred Heart Convent International School, here last evening. The Deputy Commissioner was the chief guest on the occasion while Caroline Rowett, British Deputy High Commissioner, Chandigarh was the special guest on the occasion. SSP Ropar Dr Sandeep Garg also attended this function.
The Annual Day function was centered around the theme ‘ISEKAI- A Realm of Multiverse’ which focused on the intrinsic human desires to find happiness in alternate realities. It was presented colorfully by the students from grades L.K.G to 10th.
The event unfolded with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Surabhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana, and Special Guest Caroline Rowett, British Deputy High Commissioner, Chandigarh. They were impressed by the impeccable performances showcased by the students. The Chief Guest motivated the students with her words of inspiration.
The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of the School Manager Sr.Chantal, the Principal Sr. Shanthi D’souza, and Vice Principal Sr. Shanti BS, and the dedicated staff. The event concluded with a Grand Finale. The function was a spectacular display of the talent and fervor of the students.
