A seven-day training program on “ADVANCED MOLECULAR BIOLOGY TECHNIQUES” came to an end on 27th March 2022. The morning session included scientific session by Dr. Archana Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She spoke on bioinformatics analysis of Sanger sequence and Sequence deposition in various databases. The session followed by visit of participants to SAIF/CIL facility, an evaluative test and feedback form was submitted.

The day concluded with valedictory session and it was graced by the chief guest Padam Shri Prof. R.C. Sobti (Former Vice Chancellor, Panjab University and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow). Prof. Sobti did point out the importance of inter-disciplinary courses and collaborations. He beautifully correlated the basic science and its implications on the scientific research. He also emphasized on serving the society by implying the scientific knowledge.
The STUTI-Organizing committee distributed certificates to the participants of the training program. Prof. G. R. Chaudhary gave vote of thanks to the chief-guest, faculty and organizing staff of Department of Zoology and SAIF/CIL, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
