Chandigarh, March 6 – With an aim to ensure prosperity for the people of the state, the Haryana Government is easily approachable through the Chief Minister’s Office Twitter Handle @cmohry. The Twitter handle has recently resolved tweets regarding various problems being faced by farmers.

Sharing details in this regard, IT Consultant to Chief Minister, Dhruv Majumdar said that the social media team has been perceptive towards complaints being made by farmers and have resolved them as soon as possible. In a few tweets pertaining to issues being faced during registration on Meri Fasal, Mera Byora portal raised by Satyawan Singh (Garanpura, Bhiwani), Manish Yadav (Inchhapuri, Gurugram) and Pawan Yadav (Dhana Khurd, Hisar) it came to light that it had been erroneously mentioned that their agricultural land is not fit for farming by the concerned Patwari. They had tweeted on the Twitter handle of the Chief Minister’s Office and the errors were rectified immediately.

Divulging details of another tweet, Dhruv Majumdar said that a farmer, Paramjit Singh who has his agricultural land in Dabkauli Kalan, Indri Tehsil in Karnal district had tweeted on the Chief Minister’s Office Twitter handle that subsidised urea was not reaching his village. The issue was resolved within 72 hours of the tweet, he added.

In another farmer related tweet raised by Sanjay Kumar from Mirchpur Village, Tehsil Narnaund in Hisar district, it was mentioned that the millet (Bajra) crop he grows was not getting sold and the process to weigh the crop also had not been initiated. He then raised a tweet and it was resolved on priority basis.
