KARGIL, APRIL 29, 2021: Amid surge in COVID-19 positive cases across the country and to ensure the safety and welfare of the students and residents of Ladakh in various parts of the country, the Divisional Commissioner Ladakh Saugat Biswas through an order on Wednesday has designated nodal officers for redressal of the grievances of the students and residents outside Ladakh UT.
The Nodal Officers for Delhi and other states include Kaneez Fatima, Liaison Officer, Finance Department UT Ladakh (9818593105), Deputy SP Ghulam Hayder, In Charge Security Liaison Officer at New Delhi (7006688046) and Er Ashwani, JE (9419873970).
Likewise, Er Tsewang Morup, AE (6006872294) has been designated as the Nodal Officer for Chandigarh while Er Mansoor Muhammad Nissar, AE, In Charge Kargil House Jammu (9419176697) and Dawa Tsering, In Charge Ladakh House Jammu (7889731796) have been designated as Nodal Officers in case of Jammu, adding Er Tariq Ahmed, AEE Procurement Division, Kargil at Srinagar (9797034661) has been designated as Nodal Officer for Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Ms Sumera Shafi, Deputy Resident Commissioner UT Ladakh has been assigned as the Overall Coordinator who has been assigned with the responsibility to coordinate with the authorities of Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh, New Delhi and other states to keep close coordination with the Administration of UT Ladakh for effective and quick redressal of the grievances of the students/residents of Ladakh residing outside Ladakh arising out of the prevailing situation.
