In line with the PM Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision to actively involve the youth of the country in the formulation of national plans, priorities and goals of the country, Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh is actively participating in the ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ campaign. This initiative will provide a platform to the youth of the country to contribute ideas to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
More than 95% of the students of the college have registered themselves on the Viksit Bharat online portal and have shared their ideas regarding the same.
Various selfie booths and banners have been installed at different locations inside the college campus so as to spread awareness regarding the campaign.
Moreover, coming week onwards as the next semester begins, various competitions like debating, poster making, monologue competitions and some sessions have been planned to increase student participation.
Viksit Bharat @2047 is the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of independence.The vision encompasses various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.
It’s pertinent to note that all these activities are being conducted under the aegis of the office of the Dean Students Affairs, i.e., DSA, PEC.
