Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Panchayat Halqas Testa in Block Lungnak

Kargil, November 18:
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, envisaged by the Union Government as a major step towards attaining saturation of welfare schemes, was observed today at Panchayat Halqas Testa of Block Lungnak.
A total of 154 new beneficiaries were registered for Soil Health Card, PMKISAN, and e-KYC. Aadhaar seeding and verifications were promptly completed on-site.
Schemes enrolment under Social Security Scheme, NRLM, PMAY (G), PMJAY enrolment, screening of 100 villagers for sugar, BP and TB was done during the program. It was reported that 21 individuals underwent NCD screening, revealing 8 cases of hypertension. Additionally, 12 golden cards were issued and distributed, and 20 individuals were screened for TB.
During the event, Day Nodal Officer/Panchayat Secretary, Tsewang Yountan discussed in details about the purpose of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and encouraged the villagers to avail the benefits of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Government of India.
District Project Manager, LRLM Kargil, Muneer Rasul Wani administered Yatra pledge. He also encouraged the women to enrol themselves into the SHGs for the livelihood generation and economic activities. The employees of line departments and Panchayat members were present at Panchayat Ghar Cha.
Earlier, the event started by welcoming the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) van with a traditional Khataks by Chairman BDC.
