People of Punjab are making fun of ‘Sukhbir’s falsehood’: Kultar Singh Sandhwan
Chandigarh, August 25 2021
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab senior leaders and MLAs Aman Arora and Kultar Singh Sandhwan have accused the Akali Dal Badal president Sukhbir Singh Badal of running away from the questions of the farmers, the people and the Opposition. In a joint statement issued from the party headquarters here on Wednesday, Aman Arora and Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that Sukhbir Singh Badal, who had established the roots of ‘mafia rule’ in the state and was talking about Punjab today, was reluctant to answer the questions because there he has no stand.
The AAP leaders said the people of Punjab cannot forget the deeds of Sukhbir Singh Badal’s 10-years of mafia rule for decades as the sacred organs of Guru Granth Sahib were buried in the sewers during his rule. They said firing was done on the Sangat, who were peacefully protesting for justice for this gross sacrilege, like Jallianwala Bagh. The AAP leaders said that today when the people ask Sukhbir Badal as the then Home Minister that who was the ‘general dyer’ who ordered the indiscriminate firing in Behbal Kalan and Kotkapura; Sukhbir Badal does not have the answer to this question.
Similarly, Sukhbir Badal was being questioned about Harsimrat Kaur Badal, being the Union Cabinet Minister, for her signature on the anti-agriculture black laws ordinance. “The Badal family has no answer to this question. Similarly, the Badals did not have any answer to SYL and any of the 14 questions asked by the Aam Aadmi Party,” they said.
Aman Arora said that Sukhbir Singh Badal and the entire Badal party, who had ruined Punjab and put it in a challenging situation; could not escape the questions being asked by the AAP, the farmers and all sections. “If the Badals do not answer the questions of mafia, sacrilege, unemployment, expensive electricity etc then the people of Punjab will not listen to them,” he added.
Kultar Singh Sandhwan said the people of Punjab were well aware of the ‘lies’ of Sukhbir Singh Badal, which was why they were mocking and protesting against Sukhbir Badal’s ‘falsehood program’.
