Haryana’s Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said education is important to give the right direction to society. A student should participate in cultural activities from time to time along with getting academic education, which will help him in gaining confidence.
The minister was speaking as the chief guest in the 38th AIU Inter University North West Zone Youth Festival program being held at Om Sterling Global University located near village Juglan in Hisar today. 23 universities of the North-West region are participating in the youth festival.
During the program, he said education is very important for society. It is very important for a student to concentrate on his goal for success. He called upon the students to develop their talent not only in the field of art but also in other fields. He said through such a big platform, artist students of one state get a chance to know about the culture of other states.
Sh. Gangwa said the youth should move forward with positive thinking. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the central and state governments have run many schemes for the youth for education and employment. He appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and called upon them to work for the benefit of the country by putting their energy in a positive way in the field of education. Guest of Honour, former IG Dalbir Bharti, Chairman of Haryana Mati Kala Board Satbir Verma, Dr. Puneet Goyal from Om Sterling Global University, Dr. Poonam Goyal and Dr. N.P. Kaushik were also present on the occasion.
