Encouragement for Industrial Development Investments: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed to accelerate the preparations for the Regional Industry Conclave, Vikramotsav and Vikram Trade Fair. Chief Minister Dr Yadav emphasized on the encouragement of investment in industrial development through this summit. The entire industrial landscape of the state will benefit from it. Dr Yadav during the review meeting at smart city office Ujjain, highlighted the state’s potential for the industrial growth and the upcoming investor summit on March 1 and 2 in Ujjain. This summit aims to attract investment across various sectors.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised on exploring additional avenues to enhancely organise the investor summit. He also said for inclusion of justice themed programmes in Vikramotsav, Honouring the legacy of Raja Vikramaditya the symbol of justice. He also directed to organise a grand feast on the occasion of Holi. Chief Minsiter Dr Yadav instructed to prepare a detailed action plan for the kothi palce in ujjain, including provisions for a confrence hall,rooftop restaurant and convienient parking facilites. Collector Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh gave detailed power point presentation on the programme outline. As per the scheduled programme, the dedication of Regional Industry Conclave, Vikramotsav and Vikram Trade Fair, Vikramaditya Vedic Clock and foundation laying programme of Veer Bharat Museum will be held at Kalidas Academy, Ujjain at 10.30 am on March 1 where Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will be chief guest. Preparations for the programme are in the final stages. The main attractions of the Ujjayani Vikram Trade Fair in Ujjain include: 50 percent discount in registration fee and road tax on non-transport vehicles and small transport vehicles, sale of electronic equipment, non-transport vehicles and transport vehicles of various companies, garments and other equipment at reasonable prices besides stalls related to specific cuisine. There will also be cultural and entertainment programmes. Information regarding agriculture and allied sectors and cottage and village industries will also be given in the fair.

The Automobiles Electronics and Food Zone has been proposed at Dussehra Ground, commercial shops, Automobiles, Swing and Food Zone at PGBT Ground and cultural programme have been proposed at Kalidas Academy Triveni Museum and Polytechnic Ground in the Ujjaini Vikram Trade Fair. Major automobile electronic companies participating in the Ujjain trade fair include Mahindra, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Yamaha, Nexa, Royal Enfield, Hero Honda, Samsung, Panasonic, HP, Dell, Maruti Suzuki etc.
