Engineers are the backbone of the country’s development: Deputy CM Shri Shukla

Engineers have knowledge and ability, said Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla on the role of engineers in the society. They contribute to every section of the society. Engineers are the backbone of country’s development. Madhya Pradesh is a fast progressing state, in which engineers play an important role. Deputy CM Shri Shukla was addressing a gathering where he inaugurated the three-day 38th Indian Engineering Congress at the Institution of Engineers (India) Local Centre, Jabalpur.

Speaking at the Indian Engineering Congress organized on the theme “Reimagining Tomorrow: Shaping the Future through Disruptive and Interdisciplinary Technologies”, Deputy CM Shri Shukla said that such a big event is being organized for the first time in Madhya Pradesh. He said that the the research papers presented in the Engineering Congress will be studied for its utilization later in administration.

Book “IEI 38th Congress” was released at the seminar. Also, personalities who made outstanding contributions in the field of engineering were honoured with certificates and shields. Former Secretary to the Government of India, Shri UP Singh, officials of IEI along with engineers, experts and industrialists were also present in the inauguration.
