Taking stern action against environmental rules violators, the Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar Girish Dayalan today ordered immediate inquiry into the incident of suspected chemical factory discharge which turned seasonal rivulet’s water into red in Dhakoli.
Informing about the development, Mr. Dayalan said that XEN Of Environment Department will conduct a thorough probe of the incident and sampling to be done so that source of the chemical could be find and action can be taken. Deputy Commissioner said that prima facie facts showed that this chemical belonged to a factory of neighbouring state.
Mr. Dayalan informed that teams have already deputed at the site to find the real source of the chemical.
