Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister takes stock of preparations for Khelo India Youth Games- 2021 in Panchkula
Chandigarh, May 31 – Minute to minute updates about the 4th edition of Khelo India Youth Games – 2021, which is going to be held in Haryana after 4 days, will reach the country and the world. A media centre equipped with all facilities has been specially set up at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, Sector-3, Panchkula to ensure live telecast of this grand sports festival reaches across the globe.
Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal today chaired a meeting with the officers concerned to take stock of the preparations for the sports events and setting up of the media centre. Director, Sports Department, Sh. Pankaj Nain and other officials were also present.
Directing the officers, Dr. Agrawal said that all required facilities should be ensured in the media centre so that media persons covering this grand event do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Dr. Agrawal also inspected the main stage, media lounge, photo point, etc. prepared for the opening ceremony and gave necessary directions. The Information, Public Relations and Languages Department will ensure wide publicity of Khelo India Youth Games-2021 across the country and the world through social media, electronic media and press releases, he said.
The opening ceremony on June 4
Dr. Agrawal informed that the opening ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games – 2021 will be organized in Panchkula on June 4, 2022, in which Union Home Minister Sh. Amit Shah will be the Chief Guest. All its preparations have been completed.
Haryana is continuously leaving an indelible mark in the field of sports and after the fourth edition of the Khelo India Youth Games, one more feather will be added to the hat of Haryana’s sports achievements, said Dr. Agrawal.
