KARGIL MAY 14, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan on behalf of all Executive Councilors and Councilors of the LAHDC, Kargil has condoled the sad demise of prominent senior citizen and former Divisional Forest Officer Haji Ghulam Haider Silmo who passed away at Kargil on Thursday morning.
The CEC while expressing profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Haji Ghulam Haider described him as a noble soul and said that his death was a huge loss.
Recalling his contribution in introducing the concept of departmental as well as community plantation in Ladakh during his tenure as a Range Officer in Leh and Kargil districts during the decade of the 70s , the CEC said that Haji Ghulam Haider will be remembered for his community service and passion towards the environment.
In his condolence message, CEC Khan conveyed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family members in this hour of grief.
Khan also prayed to the Almighty God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
