Feroz Khan hails efforts of Action Covid Team, Sattva India for supplementing COVID-19 mitigation measures in Kargil district
KARGIL FEBRUARY 05, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan has appreciated Sattva India and the Action Covid Team (ACT) for supplementing the COVID-19 mitigation measures in Kargil district by providing High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)-Oxygen Supply Systems, N-95 Masks and Corona Ovens- Ultra Violet Disinfectants.
“This is to acknowledge the contribution made in human spirit by Action Covid Team and Sattva India towards mitigation of the global pandemic COVID-19 in the frontier District Kargil. LAHDC Kargil very humbly received 10,000 Nos. of N-95 Masks and 5 Nos. of Corona Ovens-Ultra Violet Disinfectants as a part of the outreach efforts by the two organizations”, reads a letter of appreciation by the CEC, Kargil.
The letter of appreciation further states, “LAHDC Kargil expresses its appreciation for the spirited and pro-active efforts made by Action Covid Team (ACT) and Sattva India. Inclusion of the most remote areas of the country in the fight against a global pandemic truly reflects the idea of social inclusivity and is therefore highly appreciable”.
The CEC on behalf of the LAHDC Kargil has wished the 2 organizations all the very best in their future endeavors.
Pertinently, as a part of the efforts of Sattva India and the Action Covid Team for supplementing COVID-19 mitigation measures CEC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan had handed over 5 Corona Ovens and 10,000 N 95 face masks through Dr Nordan Otzer, ENT Specialist, SNM Hospital Leh to the officers of DC Office Kargil, Health Department and District Treasury at Council Secretariat Kargil on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, CEC Feroz Khan also appreciated Dr Nordan Otzer, ENT Specialist, SNM Hospital Leh who has been working as a volunteer on behalf of the Health Department Ladakh in coordinating the efforts of Sattva India and the Action Covid Team in Ladakh and has rendered noteworthy services to make the supplies reach the correct places.
