Fish will be the center of attraction in Subhash Park lake, soon a zoo will be built in the park: Home Minister Anil Vij

Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij himself released different types of fish in the lake

Chandigarh, October 20 – Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Park located in Ambala Cantt. is becoming a center of attraction in North India.  Various types of beautiful and colorful fish in the 4-acre lake of the park will now be the center of attraction for the people and children who come here to take a walk.  On Wednesday morning, Haryana Home and Urban Local Bodies Minister, Sh. Anil Vij released more than 200 different types of fish in the lake.  These fish were provided by the Fisheries Department.  On this occasion, Sh. Anil Vij said that very soon a zoo would also be built in Subhash Park in which different types of colorful birds would be kept.

The Home Minister said that Subhash Park has become a center of attraction in North India at this time and people from other cities are coming here to visit and see its beauty.  He said that different types of fish of different colours in the lake will attract the attention of the people coming here.  The number of fish will be increased further in the future.  He said that there is fresh water in the lake of the park, due to the fountain in the lake, the water moves continuously and such an environment is quite suitable for fish farming.  Very soon a provision for boating will also be made in the lake and tenders have also been called for this by the city council.

New look given to Subhash Park at a cost of Rs. 29 crores

Significantly, with the efforts of Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, Subhash Park has been given a new look at a cost of Rs, 29 crore.  There are attractive water fountains in the lake of the park.  Apart from this, improvements have been made by doing stone pitching in the lake.  For the beauty of the park, attractive lights have also been installed around the park, due to which the night view of the park and the lake is amazing.  Hundreds of heritage lights, sound system, gazebo, musical dancing fountain, seating benches, CCTV cameras, rain water harvesting system along with other facilities have been provided in the park.
