Five member SAD Disciplinary Committee formed : Sikandar Singh Malooka to chair

 Views welcome on party platform but  Indiscipline will not be tolerated : party press release

 

Chandigarh August 8 – The Shiromani Akali Dal president Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal today set up a five member Disciplinary Committee of the party.

  The Committee will be headed by the senior Akali leader Jathedar Sikandar Singh Malooka.

    The other members of the panel  are S Sharanjt Singh Dhillon, Sardar Virsa Singh Valtoha, Sardar Mantar Singh Brar and Dr Sukhwinder Sukhi

  The SAD president has also appealed to all party men to use only the party platform for expression of their views in keeping with the lofty democratic traditions of the party, according to the press release.

   “Every view for strengthening the party is welcome but only on the legitimate party platform, as has been the time tested practice in the party,” said the SAD press release

“But no indiscipline such as airing such views outside the party platform can or will be tolerated. Internal  matters of the party must be discussed only on the party platform. There is no place for any anti party activity which   provides material to enemies of the party, Panth and Punjab for spreading rumours, misinformation and disinformation against the organisation,” said the press release.
