For the first time, folk artists from across the State of Haryana will get an opportunity to showcase their skills on the stage of International Gita Mahotsav. Along with the stage performances, employment has also been provided to the folk artists in the festival.

Cultural programmes at 75 pilgrimages of 48 Kos Kurukshetra are being organized for the first time under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal. In order to ensure the success of International Gita Mahotsav, Haryana Kala Parishad has been given the complete responsibility to put all artists together on one platform.
Director, Haryana Kala Parishad and Nodal Officer for Cultural Programmes, Sh. Sanjay Bhasin said that all the artists from across the State would be given a platform to present cultural programmes at all these pilgrimages. For the first time in the State, Haryanvi and Punjabi folk artists are being given an opportunity to showcase their talent. These artists will also be given incentive amount from the State Government.
