DEPUTY COMMISSIONER REVIEWS ARRANGEMENTS REGARDING DISTRICT LEVEL CELEBRATIONS AT BACHAT BHAWAN TODAY

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today informed that the full dress rehearsal regarding district-level Republic Day celebrations would be held at Guru Nanak Stadium, here, on January 24, 2022. A meeting to review the arrangements for the district level Republic Day celebrations slated to take place on January 26 was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana at Bachat Bhawan, here today.

This meeting was also attended by CA GLADA Sandeep Kumar, ADC (D) Amit Kumar Panchal, ADC (G) Rahul Chaba, ADCP Dr Pragya Jain, AC (G) Gurbir Singh Kohli, besides head of all government departments.
Varinder Kumar Sharma informed that in view of Covid 19 pandemic and the government directions, no cultural function or PT show would be organised on the occasion. He also appealed to all city residents to celebrate our Republic Day as a National festival.
He said all people attending this district level function must be wearing masks and should follow Covid appropriate behaviour. He said that every officer must ensure that people participating in this function should not face any kind of problem.
