Full support to concrete investment proposals of processing units in the interest of farmers

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that industrial investment in the field of agriculture, food processing and logistics will be specially promoted in the state. Many new units have been established in these areas in the last one and a half decade, the benefits of which are being given to the farmers. The state government will provide full cooperation to implement new concrete proposals for investment in these areas. The Chief Minister was holding a discussion with investors who came to meet him at his residence today. Among those who met Chief Minister Shri Chouhan were Shri Abhijit Verma, Executive Director Avigana Private Limited, Shri Nitin Chandra, Associate Director, CBRE and Shri Ilias Iqbal, Deputy Vice President Axis Bank. The investors propose to set up processing units based on agricultural products through various units in the state.
