Government of India Launches Special Campaign 3.0 to Enhance Swachhata and Efficiency

The Government of India has launched of Special Campaign 3.0, that commenced on 2nd October and will run until 31st October, 2023. Building on the remarkable successes of similar campaigns in 2021 and 2022, this year’s campaign is dedicated to advancing Swachhata (cleanliness) and streamlining the resolution of pending references.
The Special Campaign held in 2022 achieved nationwide acclaim, encompassing over one lakh government offices, which collectively reclaimed approximately 89.8 lakh square feet of office space for productive use. Special Campaign 2023 sets a formidable goal of attaining Swachhata saturation in all offices under every Ministry and Department. Its core objectives include elevating the overall cleanliness of government offices and enhancing the public’s experience when interacting with these establishments.
 The campaign’s ambit is not limited to cleanliness alone; it also accentuates the importance of space management, optimizing available resources, and creating more conducive working environments, especially for field offices.
The Chandigarh Administration is in full alignment with these national guidelines and has already taken proactive steps. Government offices throughout the region are undergoinh thorough cleaning, and actions have been initiated through the CP Grams portal to address grievances. Out of the 600 grievances received, an impressive 250 have already been successfully resolved.
