Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel visited the historical monuments Ahilyabai Holkar’s throne, Rajarajeshwar temple and Gupteshwar temple at Mandleshwar during his stay at Maheshwar. He had a look at the sari manufacturing work in Rewa Society and discussed with weavers. He boated in Maa Narmada.

Weaver Manju Bai Verma told that the more designs are there in the sari, the more time it takes to weave it. On this basis the price of the sari is decided. Leela Bai Bhavsar told about the pattern of saris that Maheshwari sari on the Maharashtrian pattern is bought by most of the tourists. Governor Shri Patel visited other products made by the society on this occasion and got information about them.

Governor Shri Patel garlanded the life-size statue of Maa Ahilyabai located in the fort complex. He understood the darshan rituals of Maa Narmada from the place of the throne of Goddess Ahilyabai.
