Governor Shri Ramen Deka hoisted the national flag at Raj Bhavan this morning on the occasion of Independence Day and took the salute of the parade. First Lady Smt. Ranee Deka Kakoty was also present on the occasion.
The Governor extended his congratulations and best wishes to the officials and employees of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat on Independence Day. He warmly greeted the family members and children of the Raj Bhavan employees, distributing toffees and sweets to the children.
All officials and employees of the Raj Bhavan, including the Governor’s Secretary Shri Yashwant Kumar, Legal Advisor Shri Bhishma Prasad Pandey, and Deputy Secretary Smt. Hina Animesh Netam, were present on the occasion.
The parade at Raj Bhavan was led by Shri Sumit Gupta, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
