Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal said that a separate college for girls would be opened in future only on demand.

Sh. Kanwar Pal said this in response to a question asked during the winter session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.
He apprised the House that most of the Government Primary, Secondary, Higher and Senior Secondary Schools are co-educational schools. At present, out of 14,473 schools in the State, 12,664 are co-educational and only 1,809 are girls’ schools.
