BJP’s third consecutive term in Haryana reflects public endorsement  of Prime Minister’s welfare policies

Chandigarh, October 18, 2024

Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini expressed gratitude to the people of the state for re-electing the Bharatiya Janata Party government with a significant majority for the third consecutive term. He said that, following the policies of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the government will work resolutely for the welfare of the poor, youth, farmers, and women’s empowerment. New decisions will be made based on the needs of every sector and community, and ongoing initiatives in the state will be carried forward non-stop. Haryana’s role will be more important in the resolution of Viksit Bharat.

The Chief Minister made these remarks during a press conference after chairing the first meeting of the newly formed cabinet here today.

The public demolished the narrative of Congress and gave full majority to BJP

Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that the people of the state have endorsed the welfare policies of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi with a substantial majority for the third consecutive time. He said that voters have rejected the narrative crafted by the opposition during the elections. The opposition made use of sportspersons in the election, attempted to mislead farmers and engaged with youth on issues like “parchi-kharchi” in recruitment process. The underlying message of such statements was one of corruption. The youth recognized that the corrupt practices in job allocations prior to 2014 could resurface. However, the people of the state dismantled Congress’s narrative and granted a decisive majority to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He said that just as he has assumed the charge of Chief Minister today, about 25,000 youth have also secured jobs in the state. He remarked that this is a government elected by the poor, with 2.80 crore people placing their trust in the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He highlighted that in the past 10 years, the double-engine government has made historic decisions for the welfare of all sections of society. When seeking support from the public during the recent elections, people openly backed the policies of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, rejecting the opposition’s propaganda and responding by pressing the lotus button, he added.

Chief Minister warns those involved in criminal activities

The Chief Minister issued a stern warning to individuals engaged in criminal activities, stating that they must either reform themselves or leave the state. He said that there is no place for such individuals in Haryana. The state government is committed to ensuring the safety and security of every citizen.
