Haryana government has decided to observe May 21, 2021 as ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’.

Chandigarh, May 19 – Haryana government has decided to observe May 21, 2021 as ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the government has asked all the Administrative Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Director General of Police and all the Deputy Commissioners to ensure that ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’ may be observed meticulously as per past practice, including the pledge taking ceremony in the Government Offices at 10.30 am on May 21, 2021.

He said that in view of the safety of the participants and the organizers due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and to avoid the public gathering, the officials may be advised to take anti-terrotism pledge solemnly in their rooms/offices itself by Heads of respective Branches/Offices. It is also requested to follow the preventive measures such as maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks etc. as prescribed and recommended by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, while organizing the appropriate programme for the occasion.
