Haryana Government orders criminal cases against a Patwari and Sub inspector guilty under corruption charges
Chandigarh, December 21: Haryana Government, on the basis of enquiry conducted by State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) has ordered to register criminal cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act against a Patwari and a Sub Inspector of Police Department who have been found guilty of acquiring disproportionate assets.
Sharing more details about the same, an official spokesman said that the State Government has issued order to register criminal cases against Nihal Singh, Patwari of Block Development and Panchayat, Karnal and Sub Inspector Rambir Singh of District Police, Palwal, who have been found guilty of acquiring disproportionate assets, in the enquiries conducted by the SVB.
The spokesman said that Mahal Singh, resident of Karnal and others had filed a complaint against Nihal Singh, Patwari that he has acquired illegal movable and immovable properties beyond his income during the Government Service. The enquiry was conducted by SVB, Karnal which revealed that the said Patwari acquired disproportionate assets.
Second matter was registered on the Source Report of SVB, Faridabad alleging therein that Sub Inspector Rambir Singh has obtained illegal wealth and acquired disproportionate assets. The allegations were proved during the enquiry conducted by the SVB, said the spokesman.
He said that now, the State Government, on the basis of enquiry conducted by the State Vigilance Bureau, has issued order to register criminal cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act against both officials.
