Haryana Government to name several public places and roads after martyrs to honour them
Chandigarh, January 9- Haryana Transport Minister, Mool Chand Sharma said that the Haryana Government is naming several public places and roads after the martyrs to honour them.
Mool Chand Sharma was speaking as the Chief Guest at a meeting organized to pay a tribute on the sacrifice day of the martyr King Nahar Singh in Ballabhgarh. He participated in the “yagna” organized on this occasion.
The Transport Minister said that the martyrs belong to the whole society, not to any caste. Martyrs sacrifice their lives for the society. Recalling the sacrifices of King Nahar Singh, he said that King Nahar Singh had sacrificed his life in the revolution of 1857 and had prepared an important role in the liberation of the country. He also remembered the martyr Bhura Balmiki and the martyr Gulab Singh Saini.
The Transport Minister also paid homage on the death anniversary of the leader of farmers Sir Chhoturam, saying that he was a true patriot and farmer friendly leader. He further added that farmer friendly decisions taken by him will always be remembered. He said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is continuously making efforts to overcome the problems of the farmers in the country. He said that meetings of farmer leaders and Union Ministers are going on continuously and all their problems will be resolved soon.
