Haryana government will give 10 state level awards to those people who have made significant contribution to good governance in the state.

The Good Governance Day programme is scheduled to be organised by the Haryana Government on December 25, 2021, on the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, 10 state level awards will be given to those people who have made significant contribution to ensure Good Governance in the State.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that various important steps have been taken by the State Government in order to ensure Good Governance in the State, in which apart from public representatives, officers, employees and common man have also equally contributed. A committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to facilitate the above said awards, in which apart from the Finance Commissioner, other members including Additional Chief Secretaries are also part of the committee.

The names for the awards will be finalised post the approval of the committee members and the Chief Minister. These awardees will be selected from 36 projects in which three areas will be assessed including infrastructure, economic growth and the key role played by the flagship plan. He said that while the economic sector would be evaluated by Kurukshetra University, the infrastructure would be assessed by IIM Rohtak.

According to the spokesperson, awards will be given to 10 officers/employees during the State Level Programme to be held in Chandigarh on December 25, 2021.
