6 illegal weapons and cartridges recovered
Chandigarh, Aug 6 :- Haryana Police has cracked a double murder case of Hansi police district that took place on August 4 within 24 hours of the crime. All the five miscreants were arrested from Rajasthan after a brief exchange of fire.
While giving information here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police said that when the police team surrounded the accused and asked them to surrender, the miscreants started firing at the team. In retaliation, one of the accused got injured. Police has also recovered six illegal weapons and cartridges from them. In addition, a looted vehicle has also been recovered.
The arrested accused include Monu alias Romeo, resident of Adarsh Nagar Hansi, Sachin resident of Ambedkar Colony Hansi, Amarjeet resident of Bhatia Colony Hansi, Rinku resident of Sainipura and Gajju, a resident of Neemrana in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
The accused of killing two women in Hansi had escaped after shooting another person in the leg. The Superintendent of Police Hansi Mrs. Nitika Gehlot constituted teams of CIA and Cyber Cell to crack the case.
Working on the intelligence and other inputs, police has arrested the accused after a brief exchange of fire from Neemrana, Rajasthan.
On August 4, 2022, the accused entered a house in Hansi and fired gun shots at two women besides looting a car, jewellery and cash. On 5 August 2022, they went to a dairy and shot in the leg of another person.
