In a significant stride towards advancing healthcare infrastructure, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (HBCHRC), New Chandigarh is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, under a commendable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The collaborative effort aims to provide state-of-the-art medical equipment to HBCHRC, with a focus on enhancing diagnostic capabilities. The cornerstone of this initiative is the procurement and installation of a cutting-edge CT scanner, bolstering the hospital’s capabilities in cancer diagnosis and research.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting community health and well-being. The total project cost for this endeavor is estimated at 6.5 Crore INR, affirming the scale and impact of this joint initiative.

Dr. Asshish Gulia, (Director) at HBCHRC, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This strategic partnership with Power Grid is a testament to our collective dedication to advancing healthcare services. The addition of a CT scanner will significantly elevate our diagnostic capabilities, enabling us to provide better care to our patients.”
