The technology is advancing at a fast pace and every day there is something new for us to experience. With time the popularity of social media has also increased. People spend hours using social applications like Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and WhatsApp. These apps can be a great pass time and also provide us knowledge, it all depends on how we utilise these resources. A new feature was launched on several apps recently which is called- “Status”. It is majorly trending on WhatsApp. People post an image or a video which is available for their contacts to see for 24 hours after which it automatically disappears. Plenty of times we come across some appealing status which we would like to save or share with others. Unfortunately, there is no feature on WhatsApp to enable us to download a status. But we are here to your rescue, keep reading below to find out how you can download a WhatsApp status.
All Statuses Get Saved In Your Phone:
Yes! You read that right. All the status which you load on your WhatsApp are stored in a folder in your phone labelled as – ‘Statuses’. In order to avoid issues of copyright, WhatsApp decided not to let those statuses to be saved in our galleries. Instead they get saved in a separate folder which you can access easily. You do not need extra efforts to find it. Simply open ‘File Manager’. Go to settings. In settings you will find an option named as ‘Unhide Files’. After that go to WhatsApp option. Here you will find a folder named Media inside which is the folder of Statuses. There you can find all the statuses you’ve viewed.
Third-Party Apps:
If you find the above option difficult, then you can also use Play Store to download several Third-party apps which allow you to download status from WhatsApp. However, it is unclear how safe these apps are regarding our personal details.
