Implement the schemes and policies related to the Industries and Commerce Department, says Dushyant Chautala

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala has directed the officers to implement the schemes and policies related to the Industries and Commerce Department on priority basis so that maximum investment and employment opportunities can be created for the youth of the state.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Industries and Commerce Department, was reviewing various policies and schemes of Industries and Commerce Department and MSMEs at his office here today. Labour and Employment Minister, Sh. Anoop Dhanak was also present on the occasion.
Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the State Government wants to establish Haryana as a competitive and preferred investment destination. He said that the main objective of the State Government is to bring about regional development, promote export diversification and generate employment for the youth by attracting investment.
In the presence of Deputy Chief Minister, through a PPT department officers’ informed that 37 out of 44 schemes under ‘Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy 2020’ have been drafted and notified. Around 2,156 applications have been received for various different incentives. It was also informed in the meeting that special incentives have been approved for 8 mega projects in the state. An investment of about Rs. 24,328 crore is proposed in these projects.
During the meeting apart from ‘Haryana Agri Business and Food Processing Policy 2018’, ‘Padma’, ‘Haryana Aatmanirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25’, ‘Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana’, and ‘Convergence with Government of India Programmes’ along with MSMEs works were reviewed in detail.
In the said review meeting, Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the senior officers to assess the schemes from time to time and present the stories of successful entrepreneurs to the people so that others can also draw inspiration from them.
Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Director General, Industries & Commerce Department, Sh. Shekhar Vidyarthi besides other senior officers were present on the occasion.
