A salary of Rs 10,000 will be given
About 254 ground men and 203 chowkidar cum gardeners and sweepers will be benefitted by it
Chandigarh, April 5 – Haryana Government has increased the salary of ground man, watchman, gardener, sweeper etc. working in sports stadiums to Rs 10,000. Earlier this category of employees used to get Rs. 5,000 only.
Sharing more information in this regard, Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Sandeep Singh said that about 254 ground men and 203 chowkidar cum gardeners and sweepers would be benefitted from this decision. He said that this was a long pending demand of these employees which has been fulfilled under the guidance of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Sports Minister said that the government is continuously working in the interest of the players as well as the employees working in sports stadiums and complexes. Showing his love for sports, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has increased the Sports budget this time to more than Rs 540 crore. Due to this thousands of players in the state will be benefitted.
