SHIMLA MAY 27, 2021:
Industries and Transport Minister Bikram Singh reviewed the activities being performed by the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC) here today.
The Minister reviewed status of Civil works being executed by the Corporation on behalf of other Government department across the state. He directed the officers to expedite ongoing works and simultaneously focus on work generation.
He further directed that keeping in view the dynamics of present scenario, the Corporation must adopt those strategies which focus on fast delivery. He insisted that tenders for the upcoming works must be floated in the minimum possible time to enhance the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
He reiterated that the works must be finished within the stipulated period.
Bikram Singh also took stock of activities being performed by the Marketing Wing of the Corporation. He directed the officers to draw a plan to enhance business of the wing by adopting new methods which are effective to cater the need of the customers. He mentioned that the Corporation being a commercial organisation should adopt an aggressive but balanced approach.
After detailed deliration on creating land banks at different places especially in the district Una where bulk drug park is proposed to be set up, the officials were directed to take necessary steps to acquire necessary information beforehand.
Vice Chairman HPSIDC Prof. Ram Kumar, MD Hans Raj Chauhan and other senior officers of the Corporation were present in the meeting.
