He gave these directions while reviewing a meeting of Mukhayamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana (MMAPUY) with all the ADCs.

While taking the feedback of  the ADCs with regard to the progress of the Survey being conducted to identify families eligible under this Scheme he inquired about the challenges being faced by the Survey teams at the grassroots level and the strategies adopted by them to deal with such challenges. He directed them to understand the reasons behind the rejection of applicants who were enlisted by the Survey Teams under various schemes so that eligible beneficiaries are able to reap maximum benefits of the appropriate Government Schemes.

Furthermore, Sh. Umashankar directed the ADCs to de-brief the Survey Teams so as to get pointers for the reasons for the aforesaid rejections. He added that the survey teams should share the top 5 success stories from each district by the end of October regarding the beneficiaries who have availed a certain scheme under (MMPUY) and have enhanced their income above Rs. 1 lakh per annum. He also asked the Zonal Committees to add a representative of bank in their teams so that the bank-related queries and eligibility criteria for loan can be settled on the spot during the survey.

Principal Secretary to Government, Haryana Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Sh. Vineet Garg also interacted with the ADCs and lauded the efforts being put in by them and the Survey Teams. During the meeting, he said that if the beneficiary is erroneously enlisted in the wrong department during Survey then the beneficiary’s case should be moved to the concerned department through the portal.
