International Women’s Day Celebration

Goa State AIDS Control Society celebrated International Womens Day with the theme ‘Choose to Challenge’ with NGO ARZ.

The main motive of the community event was to have manh women from different walks of life, talk and discuss how they have challenged the world. Women also took part in the activities like nail art, mehendi and flower making at the venue and showcased their talents. Informative sessions on legal provision for women, Sexually transmitted Diseases, Women and HIV and Safety with special stress on preventing sexual abuse were conducted by Dr. A. Siona Gomes, Project Director, GSACS, Smt. Sayonara Telles Laad, Dr. Lalitha Umraskar and Ms. Julianna Lohar.
