KISHTWAR, MAY 05: Indian System of Medicines today presented immunity booster medicines to District Development Council Chairperson & Vice-Chairperson Kishtwar for distribution among the Panchayat Raj Institution members.
On the direction of Director ISM J&K Jammu, Dr Mohan Singh and further as per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, the ISM, AYUSH Kishtwar under the supervision of the District AYUSH Officer, District Nodal Officer, Dr Tariq Hussain provided free immunity booster medicines to the DDC chairperson, Pooja Thakur and Vice chairperson, Saima Shabir Lone here at the newly established DDC office near DC office Complex Mini secretariat for further distribution among DDC members and other PRIs.
Dr Junaid Iqbal Medical Officer educated the PRI members present on the occasion about the dosage and mode of consumption of these Immunity booster medicines, besides laid stress on the general hygiene especially about the various precautionary measures and SOPs of Covid-19.
He said that Ayurvedic herbs have been potent enough to increase the body’s immunity against viruses.
He urged all DDC members and other PRI members present on the occasion to spread awareness regarding the precautionary measure of the COVID-19 among the masses at grass root level and sensitise them to use Ayush immunity booster medicines and face masks to keep the revamping pandemic at bay.
At last DDC chairperson and Vice chairperson thanked Dr Tariq Hussain District AYUSH Officer Kishtwar and his team for providing the medicines and valuable suggestions, guidelines about the medicines.
